Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

As a Christian, the first church that I committed to after returning to Maryland from the streets of New Jersey was with a wonderful little church that had a Pastor that was a Messianic Jew! He was saved in the Hippie movement and had a great testimony. There, I constantly heard "Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem" in different songs from that time, but i honestly never had a heart or understanding of. It was just a thing that people said, but it didn't mean anything to me. Being young and still ignorant of so much, after a short term missions trip to Mexico, i went back to New Jersey with a couple people to try my hand at missions during the summer season.
