These are the Feasts of prophecy yet to be fulfilled, and today with the world pandemic, natural disasters and social upheaval, it makes me shake to think that we might see the prophecies fulfilled.
That statement in itself is enough to disrupt everything... absolutely everything.
In the days of Noah, everyone was carrying on as if nothing was wrong.
37 For the Son of Man’s coming will be just as it was in the days of Noach. 38 Back then, before the Flood, people went on eating and drinking, taking wives and becoming wives, right up till the day Noach entered the ark; 39 and they didn’t know what was happening until the Flood came and swept them all away. It will be just like that when the Son of Man comes. Matthew 24:37-39 (CJB)
eek! Awesome... the great and terrible Day of the Lord. Makes me wonder what will happen in 10 days, or a year and 1 days, or 2 years and 10 days... etc you get the point. If Yeshua was born on Sukkot, died on Passover, raised on First Fruits and released the Ruach HaKadosh on Shavuot... we hailed the Glorious, Awesome King of the Universe on Yom Teruah.
Rosh Hashanah / Yom Teruah just ended at the setting of the sun today
Yom Teruah is powerful with the sounding of the shofar... i know our hearts are longing to hear the sound of The Great Shofar. The sound of the shofar resonates to the heavens, welcoming the rightful King! The glorious, majestic King of the Universe... Awesome and powerful, there is none like our Great King of Kings who will soon return and step back into the view of all creation. Hearing the shofar is almost scary... the presence of the King is ushered in and things change. The Ruach HaKadosh is tangible and one cannot remain unchanged at the heaviness of His presence. Last year and this year the same shaking, breaking and loosening of my soul happened again with no less power! It softens a hard heart for these next 10 days of reflection before Yom Kippur, and hopefully beyond.
Attempts at making some baked goods to celebrate, along with the apples in sweet honey.
